Is there any art college suitable for students who want to study Visual Effects? I think the SCAD’s courses are really good. But is there any other colleges similar or better? Thanks!

Aside from SCAD a few more top-notch Visual Effects schools are the Vancouver School of Visual Effects, and Gnomon School of Visual Effects
A few of the “Art Institutes” have Visual Effects Majors also, but they are very expensive and not really worth the price. You have to work really hard to compete with students from the larger Visual Effects schools. From what I hear, the Art Institute in Denver, CO has the best A.I. Visual Effects department in the country, Best equipment, very large green-screen, etc.
i’m not too familiar with visual effects but the maryland institute college of art (MICA) and rhode island school of design (RISD) are GREEAAAT schools that you should definitely look into. much more reputable than SCAD in my opinion (i could be wrong)…go to their websites and see if they have any majors similar to what you’re looking for
